February 1988, Johnny walks into the room and sees Chester Cheesebun watching the winter Olympics from Calgary. “What you watching?” asks Johnny.

“Dude, the Jamaicans have a bobsled team and are about to do a run!” Says Chester.
So the two of them sit there watching, waiting. The Jamaicans take to the track, they have an old sled, they’re rookies in the sport and one turn proves too much and they flip.
Whoa !! These guys are Too Stoned To Bobsled !!!! Johnny screams.
They break out laughing and the name was born.

From humble beginnings with Chester and Johnny recording such great songs as 'Here Kitty Kitty', 'Knights of Nie' and 'I wanna be a Psycho' on a ghetto blaster in Johnny's basement to the current all digital recording. It's been quite the evolution.

The current TSTB project entitled 'Cease and Desist' promises to be as original and diverse as any previous TSTB project.
